Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain how you may access and use the RandomIBAN website, browser-based tools, and any related resources (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use RandomIBAN.

1. About RandomIBAN

RandomIBAN is an independently operated online project, not a bank, payment provider, or registered financial-services company. It provides browser-based tools for structural IBAN testing, demonstration, and education. Generated values are not checked against account directories and must never be used for live payments.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Services to create synthetic test data and to learn about IBAN formatting rules. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the platform. It is prohibited to use generated IBANs in production payment systems, fraud campaigns, or any unlawful activity.

3. Intellectual property

Content, branding, code samples, and documentation are owned by the site operator or their respective licensors. You may reference site materials with attribution, subject to applicable law and any license stated with the material.

4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated IBANs will meet your regulatory or technical requirements; bank-code currency, account existence, reachability, and account assignment are not verified. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Services.

5. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect product improvements or legal requirements. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

6. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, email [email protected]. No postal address is published; use email for all notices and questions.
